Integrating SEL into Literacy

Presenter: Jaime Perris is from Melbourne, Australia and has been in the field of education for around 16 years.  She has mostly taught middle and high school students in the areas of Psychology, Social Studies, ESL, Law, Business and Chinese Mandarin, and has taught in Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar, the Bahamas, and the USA. Jaime has worked on government contracts for the U.S Navy, Malaysian Ministry of Education, Taiwanese public prison in the fields of Curriculum Development and Teacher Training. She has coached teachers and leaders across  Malaysia, Taiwan, New York and New Orleans.

Presenter: Laurel Greene has worked in education for over 10 years in Southern California. She taught in an academic intervention program for five years before she transitioned to working in education program management. Before coming to Britannica, Laurel worked as an Academic and Enrichment Program Specialist for a non-profit organization that served over 90 schools in the Los Angeles area.
